Want to be a Sales Representative in the exciting and growing craft beer industry in Houston? Are you a sales professional with a proven and quantifiable sales growth track record? We are searching for a Sales Representative to join the team as an integral part of growing Platypus Brewing, a brewery and tap room in the historic Houston Heights. This is a key role for an experienced and organized Sales Representative to join this exciting brand and take ownership for driving sales growth.

The specific responsibilities and accountabilities of the role include, inter alia:

  • Maintain professional relationships with existing keg customers
  • Grow existing customers total product (keg and can) consumption
  • Identify and engage potential new customers
  • Key customer contact and liaison
  • Participation in industry and customer events and festivals
  • Ability to execute a large number of tasks timely and concurrently
  • Product distribution improvement ideas and execution

Success in this role will be measured as follows:

  • Performance in executing specific responsibilities and accountabilities above
  • Volume of product sold per month
  • Relationship with Managing Partner including clear, concise communication
  • Relationship with other employees
  • General feedback from customers and partners

Salary and participation in the short-term incentive plan commensurate with experience.
