Your role: 

The Key Account Manager is responsible for the development and execution of sales strategies across key national/regional accounts,  building strong relationships with key account stakeholders and successfully positioning Kombrewcha’s products on top of their mind. Partnering with the commercial team to plan and execute key programming. - including price promotions, signage, displays, demos and others.

You’ll do: 

  • Key account sales - Build and manage relationships with current buyers and expand  business to pursue and nurture non-buyer contacts, partnering with various internal stakeholders/departments to deliver innovative and distinct strategies to drive growth. 

  • Key account programming - Owns planning and governance of accounts’ business including promotions, promotional assets, pricing and sampling activities.     

  • Manage KAM relationships - Build and cultivate effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and retail partners relevant to the respective territory and cater to each account to improve market share and growth for all parties.

  • Data analysis and selling story creation - Review strategies to increase profitability and sales for products and buyers with IRI, sales data and program execution recaps. Work closely with wholesaler and local field sales personnel to increase Kombrewcha’s visibility, implement, manage & track execution, and evaluate results of pricing, distribution and space initiatives.

  • Sales communications - Create selling stories by chain, wholesaler, etc… and communicate back to KAMs and Kombrewcha regional sales managers for use. Work with marketing to create sales materials and analysis as needed to facilitate sales.

  • Key account Planning - Utilize a proven track record of multi-state account management while developing account plans and budgets, prepare and present account reviews, and communicate activities effectively both internally and externally.


We need:

  • Compelling account management experience in a CPG company. Deep understanding of building key relationships and well-connected candidates with experience are preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience aggregating internal and external data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, CPM, sales data) of information to build an influential selling story

  • Experience communicating and presenting complex and/or detailed information to multiple stakeholders/audiences with differing knowledge levels, both in writing and verbally.

  • Marketing expertise,  track record of supporting the development and execution of marketing programs as well as partnering with brands on product innovation.

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, finding feasible solutions to complex problems, especially in an environment with incomplete information and tight timelines

  • A  winning and collaborative attitude , you share best practices and are open to learning from other team members and leverage data/resources with stakeholders and peers. 

  • You are resilient and optimistic, able to react quickly to unplanned circumstances, self reflect on performance and aspire/inspire to be better everyday.
