COMPANY OVERVIEW: The Company is a rapidly growing, privately held, Seattle-based company focused on providing superior products in the fastest growing and most exciting segment of the beverage alcohol category.  In a few short years, the Company has become a leading and respected brand across the Pacific Northwest geography and has plans to expand its distribution footprint over time.  
POSITION OVERVIEW:  The successful Brand Manager candidate will help lead, participate in and facilitate the Company’s grassroots marketing and event efforts including:
  • Strive to create news, excitement and “buzz” status for our products in all channels and geographies that we do business in;

  • Assist in the planning, development and execution of the Company’s consumer/events marketing efforts;

  • Help create high levels of brand awareness and trial of existing and new products and programs across all channels via unique and creative programs/ideas;

  • Understand how relevant consumer, customer and competitive trends influence our decisions and support our business initiatives; and

  • Support and add value to the Company’s ongoing ideas across our Brand/Consumer Marketing, Public Relations; and Selling efforts.


  • Quickly assess the needs of the business to then help create plans and a sense of purpose for our grass roots marketing efforts that will ultimately define the direction for our brand and achieve our business objectives.

  • Develop and implement innovative solutions that excite our customers, distributor partners, and end users, ultimately achieving targeted awareness and usage levels for our products.

  • Help align our organization, suppliers and customers behind our consumer and gatekeeper marketing efforts to be the #1 craft brand wherever we compete.

  • Via unique and relevant programs/promotions/events, create “buzz” status for our brand via targeted constituencies across the US to ensure that volume and profitability targets are achieved.

  • Coordinate & represent our company/brand at events/sponsorships/shows and ensure the timely delivery of various materials and products to support each event/venue. 

  • Provide support to the sales team on an ongoing basis.

    Also works with:  Founder, Sales Team and Operations Manager. 

    Interacts with:  Various suppliers, venues and other partners

  • Must love your job!!!!  Must love Spiked Seltzer!!!  Must understand Millennials!!!

  • Must be a self-starter/finisher with a proven track record of creating a successful personality and “buzz” for a consumer food or beverage brand via grassroots marketing efforts within a high energy/entrepreneurial/fun environment.

  • Capable of working long hours cohesively in small teams.

  • Strong knowledge of the beverage alcohol industry including the 3-tier distribution system.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to meet deadlines. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image. Ability to prepare concise action plans, budgets, timelines and presentations.

  • Willingness to take a position, to show personal initiative, and to persevere in the face of significant challenges and/or feedback.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.

  • Must be capable of lifting 40 pounds for extended periods of time and be available to work periodic weekends and evenings especially during the peak “beverage season”.

  • Strong computer skills…proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Email.

  • Doer with 3+ years of consumer grassroots marketing and brand management within a highly successful entrepreneurial food and/or beverage company.

  • Early career development within “world class” fast-paced consumer goods companies known for creative successes and aggressive growth orientations.

  • CPG and/or Beverage Alcohol channel knowledge preferred.

  • Bachelor degree preferred.
