Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Fermentor and Brite Tank CIP 
  • Centrifuge and Filter Operations 
  • Dry hopping 
  • Barrel Management 
  • Yeast Management 
  • Raw Materials 
  • Equipment Maintenance 
  • Forklift Operation 
  • Record Keeping 

Other duties can include: 

  • Brand representative at events and festivals 
  • Brewery tours 
  • Support of sales staff 

Key Skills and Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a professional brewer in a commercial brewery or brewpub 
  • Formal education is preferred but not required. 
  • Self-starter, independent thinker, mature and confident personality 
  • Desire to grow professionally, drive to stay current with trends and topics, strong knowledge of beer styles 
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances and priorities 
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills 
  • Flexible schedule; willing to work long hours during high volume times, including nights and weekends 
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, Email, etc. 
  • Mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and troubleshooting nature 
  • 21 years or older 
  • Able to lift 55lb and move full kegs 
  • Ability to work in a load, wet, cold/hot environment for long periods of time 
  • Ability to bring good conversation when drinking quality beer 
  • Appreciation of coffee and the Wu-Tang Clan 

Compensation 

  • FT salary based on experience
