Area Sales Manager

We are seeking an execution-focused, entrepreneurial and energetic individual to join as our Area Sales Manager. They will have the opportunity to help us execute and take part of our vision through daily sales, marketing, and field operations and are eager to take on greater responsibility, identify business opportunities and increase market share in their assigned territory.  

What you’ll do: 

  • Build and drive growth in a defined geographic area by developing and maintaining strong/value-added relationships with key retailers, buyers  and wholesalers in their assigned territory.

  • Creates and closes new business opportunities to expand distribution footprint and grows/maintains brand presence at existing accounts. 

  • Build brand awareness and differentiation from our competitors by sourcing and executing activations, events, trainings, demos, and samplings in both on and off prem channels. 

  • Coordinates with the marketing team for effective use of marketing programs and initiatives based on knowledge of territory demographics and performance.  

  • Manages reporting and performance tracking for the assigned area.

  • You will grow your territory by engaging consumers through point of sale, shelf assortment, and creative displays at retail accounts and improving customer satisfaction by uncovering, addressing, and servicing customer needs.

  • You will work collaboratively with a team spread across different geographic areas.

  • You will use consumer data and your analytical capabilities to identify business opportunities and develop tactics to capture these opportunities and increase sales. 

Who you are: 

  • Relationship focused - You use your charisma to develop and maintain client relationships with regional on and off premise chain accounts

  • Doer - You are willing to get your hands dirty- this role is execution focused but has a lot of potential for progression and opportunities for growth. 

  • Results driven - You have 2-4 years of proven success playing sales focused roles in the CPG/Beverage industry. Alcoholic beverage sales experience highly desirable. 

  • Entrepreneurial - You act as owners and are able to operate in a fast paced environment with a lot of uncertainty. 

  • Personable - You will serve as an external steward of the brand with our consumers, retail partners, distributors and shareholders.

  • Office smart- You are highly organized, resourceful and ethical. You’re able to analyze, synthesize and report data through office and software systems.  

Compensation: We offer a competitive base salary and bonuses ( awarded based on mix of activations, accounts, and sales growth). Monthly trade spends for in market demos, samplings, meals, and events. Cell phone and mileage allowance. Flexible hours and a self-managed schedule and other perks.
