Looking for an area sales manager for an innovative Total Beverage Alcohol company. With a focus on innovation with key differentiators, this position will regularly be launching beer/wine/spirits products with distributors and into markets. The right candidate will be able to manage and hire people, as well as manage distributors and their markets. Some key abilities include:

  • Implementing effective distributor incentives
  • Ingratiating yourself with distributor leadership
  • Hitting POD and volume goals
  • Being an indispensable resource for distributor sales reps
  • Monitoring and capitalizing on marketing and sponsorship opportunities
  • Monitoring distributor spending and brand investment
  • Calling on key accounts and large volume opportunities personally, both on and off-premise
  • Monitoring the market for category successes and opportunities, functioning as field research for innovation

This position will be focused on the off-premise, but will have total market responsibilities.

Compensation:

Competitive base pay with bonus, plus phone and car allowance

Experience:

5+ years Distributor or large supplier

Track record of building high-performing teams

We have multiple regions to fill including:

Midwest – IL, WI, MN, OH, MI

TX – DFW, Houston, Austin, San Antonio

Southeast – FL, TN, GA

Northeast – MA, NY
