The Region Manager drives Archer Roose Collective performance and achieves plan objectives by providing oversight of distributor management, retail execution, team performance and development in assigned specific geography.  This position will serve as a direct point of contact for our distributor network, ensuring focus on Archer Roose sales growth and retail execution both on and off premise. The Region Manager is responsible for achieving the company’s sales efforts in the market.

Areas of Responsibility:

Create the annual Distributor Business Plan for each distributor including volume, distribution, marketing, promotions, sales programs, execution and quality control standards for the on and off-premise business.

Actively develop and manage relationships with distributor personnel including Executive Leadership, Sales Managers, Operations Management and Sales Reps; effectively train Archer Roose & Distributor reps to sell Archer Roose Products.

Ensures appropriate forecast and inventory levels to achieve market goals and quality assurance freshness and standards.

Working with the key customers in trade developing relationships, building brand presence and sales in assigned channels and geography by meeting with each distributor to set targets for distribution (on- and off-premise), volume objectives, financial commitments, and merchandising targets.

Leading the Key Account Management program by establishing with each distributor specific accounts to gain or expand points of distribution with accounts that are identified as appropriate for the brand.

Holding quarterly QBP meetings with each distributor to review performance against goals, discuss marketing programs and plans for ongoing execution.

Perform all necessary administrative duties relevant to position (i.e., tracking reports, promotional recaps, expense reports, etc.); reconcile distributor marketing funds monthly with appropriate personnel.

Working with, training and motivating distributors on Archer Roose brands.

Utilizing data from in-house systems as well as employing marketing tools to influence distributor focus.

Managing direct reports within the region regarding number of accounts calls, KARMA, on-premise and off-premise activity, MBO achievement, confirming follow-up and support at the distributor level.

Participating in necessary trade events (industry, retail and/or consumer) such as wholesaler conferences, trade shows, samplings, events, etc.

Monitoring assigned budgets to ensure that spending stays within budget and on strategy.

Complying with all Archer Roose policies and procedures, ensuring that all activities are conducted within local, state and federal laws.



Supervisory Responsibility:

Supervises 1-4 direct reports . Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.  The Region Manager is responsible for the results of the team and must be a good leader.

Activity breakdown:

50% of time spent on distributor management

35% at retail coaching and managing and developing team

15% administrative


Minimum of 5 years related experience in the beverage industry and 2 years related experience in distributor/supplier management.  Demonstrated ability to coach, train, motivate, influence and lead. Driven for results and able to handle complexity and change. Propensity to learn. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point) and VIP. Bachelor’s degree at a minimum. Ability to travel as required, must own a car.
