What’s The Role?

It’s called a Chain Account Manager and it’s a role that is becoming increasingly important to our business.  As we are seeing substantial growth in our current footprint, Off-Premise and On-Premise chains are becoming a bigger piece of our business and they need attention!  As you’re considering applying to be part of this growing and dynamic team, ask yourself the following questions to see if you’d be a good fit for this position:

Retailers:  Who do you currently know in the Grocery, C-Store, Bar/Tavern and Restaurant chain would in the Mid-Atlantic/Southeast?  Who have you done business with before in these channels/chains that could help you establish a footprint for Lonerider Brewing moving forward?

Wholesalers:  Having established relationships with these folks is just as important as knowing the retailers, sometimes even more so.  Who do you know in our current distribution network that will help you with growing Lonerider volume?

Internally:  How are you at establishing new relationships quickly and in a team driven atmosphere?  While our sales team is spread out from Virginia to Georgia, we still keep close contact with each other and help out our fellow teammates, when possible.  Are you ready to make that kind of commitment?

Do you possess these other vital requirements for this role?: 
o An entrepreneurial spirit
o Detailed communication skills
o Relentless follow-up
o Vision on where to take your business 6, 12 and 24 months down the road
o The ability to have difficult conversations and create amicable solutions for all parties involved
o Not being afraid of the word “no” and possessing the potential to overcome serious objections
o Above average to proficient skills with the laptop; strong knowledge with PowerPoint, Excel and VIP IS A MUST!
o Data analysis:  know how to work a spreadsheet up and down, as well as look at the numbers to get ahead of the latest trends.

Location: The preferred candidate will be based in North Carolina; South Carolina may be considered for the right candidate.
