Galveston Bay Beer Company is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to become an Area Sales Representative.  Ideal candidates must be highly energetic, entrepreneurial, relationship focus being both passionate about their customers and craft beer.  

Primary Responsibilities:

·       Must develop and maintain relationships with Retail accounts, growing sales, and being GBBC’s brand ambassador within an assigned territory

·       Manage the assigned territory, developing and execute promotions in order to support sales efforts and promote brand awareness.

·       Responsible for fostering relationships with existing key on-premise and off-premise retailers.

·       Must develop and achieve customer growth and retention targets

·       Increase sales within the designated market

·       Secure new tap placements within on-premise market.

·    Schedule and attend on/off premise tastings, promotions and special events (Including festivals, Pint Nights, on and      off premise promo events

·       Develop knowledge of beer styles and competitors in the marketplace  

·       Generate sales by maintaining/increasing shelf facings and positioning

·       Responsible for managing and maintaining proper inventory levels, rotate stock and stock shelves

·       Maintain professional image and demeanor at all times

Requirements:

·       Prior sales experience, prior beer sales a plus

·       Strong knowledge of local market for craft beer, with a working knowledge of craft beer industry

·       Ability to work with Salesforce and utilize a Universal Sales Process

·       Comfortable with various social media platforms, i.e. Twitter, Instagram and Facebook

·       Ability to work within a team to accomplish goals and meet sales objectives

·       Work with minimal supervision

·       Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

·       Must hold a valid driver’s license without any alcohol related offenses

·       Must have reliable vehicle

·       Flexible schedule, must be able to work outside of regular business hours, including nights and weekends

·       Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

·       Must maintain current TABC server certification

Salary commensurate with experience
