About the Brand Activation Manager role:

The Brand Activation Manager is responsible for bringing brand plans to life in the field with a focus on critical on and off premise accounts. This position executes strategic and tactical sales plans, programs, and is responsible for local execution in support of the Key Account Managers (KAM). Individuals are responsible for developing and maintaining rapport with an assigned customer base, key accounts, and to promote the goodwill of Lord Hobo Brewing Company. 

Duties include but are not limited to: conducting bar promotions, completing trade spending calls, communicating promotional activities/special events, building displays, merchandising accounts, delivering POS, executing marketing strategies for LHBCo, and other duties as assigned.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain a weekly call frequency for key on and off premise accounts

  • Building Displays

  • Delivering and installing POS

  • Merchandising on and off premise accounts

  • Manage scheduling, set up, execution, and tracking of on-premise promotions/samplings

  • Conduct high-impact promotions on a weekly basis. High-impact promotions must include execution of brand programming, trade spending, and utilization of  POS, where appropriate

  • Complete trade spending calls weekly

  • Communicate with RSM and KAM on activities and other special events

  • Develop rapport with key accounts, assigned customer base, and promote the goodwill of LHBCo

  • Implement and execute marketing strategies of the company

  • Complete all requested surveys to monitor objective achievement via KARMA

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications required:

At a minimum, the Brand Activation Manager must have the following qualifications:

  • Desired Skills/Experience (but not limited to):

  • 1 year experience working beer events; 1 years customer service experience

  • Marketing experience or relevant education

  • Strong communicator able to inspire, engage and partner to build collaborative plans and programs

  • Time management skills; ability to work independently

  • Experience with marketing and sales integration

  • Efficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • General knowledge of events and promotions

  • Squeaky clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

  • Ability to lift, push and pull objects weighing up to 70 lbs.

  • Ability to carry up to 52 lbs. over the shoulder up to 200 feet (tent) and maintain the grip strength required to carry objects including buckets

  • Ability to tip, roll and control a full keg (162 lbs)

  • Show fine motor dexterity

  • Ability to demonstrate their ability to climb, stoop, crawl, twist, squat and reach overhead

  • The position requires frequent, constant standing and walking

  • Willingness to travel for events/festivals

  • Team player with a strong work ethic and self-starting attitude
