Sustainable Beverage Technologies is an innovative brewing technology company looking to disrupt the brewing industry.  Through our core technology, BrewVo, we hope to radically alter the way beer is produced, packaged, shipped, and dispensed.  As a company, we are a group of highly motivated individuals looking to grow our team with someone of equal passion and drive.

The Brewer will operate our 3 BBL pilot brewery and will assist in necessary supporting duties such as cleaning, sanitation, QA/QC procedures and various other tasks around the facility. This position will be scheduled Monday through Friday, majority of the time during standard working hours, although odd and/or long hours will certainly happen on little to no notice.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Milling, Malt Handling

  • Executing wort production according to our standards on a 3 bbl 3 vessel brewhouse

  • Recording detailed data on brewhouse and fermentation operations 

  • Staging raw materials, ensuring all inventory necessary is available for production

  • Executing scheduled brewhouse CIPs 

  • Executing Fermenter CIPs 

  • Yeast Pitching/Management 

  • Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of all areas 

  • Participate in regular deep cleaning efforts around the brewery 

  • Research and bring forward the best ideas about process and quality improvement 

  • Participate in scheduled in-house maintenance and preventative maintenance plans

  • Receiving and storing raw materials at the dock, loading trucks 

  • Polishing and packaging finished product 

  • Maintaining and updating SOPs as necessary


  • 1+ year employment at professional brewery and/or relevant education/certification from accredited training program

  • Ability to think critically and multitask

  • Ability to work alone and under direction of others

  • Precise attention to detail and ability to strictly follow SOPs

  • Ability to problem solve complex equipment issues while operating said equipment

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Good computer skills

  • Ability to lift 55+ lbs regularly and maneuver 165+ lbs regularly

  • Ability to safely handle concentrated cleaning chemicals on a regular basis 

  • Ability to crouch, sit, stand, pull, push, bend, and/or twist while working in confined, wet, hot, and/or cold environments 

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time (9-11 hours per day) 

  • Ability to climb and work on a ladder

  • Full Availability throughout the week with a flexible schedule

  • Willingness to work occasional weekends, holidays and extended hours as needed

  • Positive attitude and work ethic


Salary for this position will be competitive to industry standards based on experience and qualifications.   Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) with matching, Paid Time Off, and annual bonus based on personal and company performance.  Following a 60 day probationary period, employee will be eligible to receive stock options in the company as well.
