Schilling Cider is searching for someone to implement a new brand portfolio. This is your opportunity to be in the driver’s seat.  The Brand Development Manager is a full-time position responsible for initiating, developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts and distributor partners. Compensation is comprised of a base salary DOE plus a goal incentive and includes a competitive benefits package. This position reports directly to ownership. Candidates chosen for the next step in the interview process will be asked to complete a skills assessment test.

Anticipated start date of October 1, 2019

Responsibilities

  • Call on existing accounts to communicate brand’s initiatives
  • Target, develop, and maintain relationships with key personnel at accounts
  • Main point of contact to our distributor partners
  • Create and maintain profiles for accounts/call points
  • Secure meetings and present the brand portfolio to buyers and distributor partners
  • Develop weekly and monthly target lists based on set goals and objectives
  • Use industry data tools to analyze and communicate useful insights
  • Constant and open communication with buyers, distributors and sales team to ensure maximum execution of pricing, promotions and displays
  • Dedicate time in the market for visiting accounts and participating in ride-withs
  • Periodically work trade shows, festivals and other industry events
  • Able to work flexible hours; hours will vary according to business need and can include occasional nights and weekends

Essential Skills & Abilities

  • Prior chain sales experience and distributor management preferred
  • Passion for the craft beverage industry 
  • Must possess a WA MAST permit or be able to obtain one within 30 days of employment
  • Mastery of the MS suite, especially Excel & PowerPoint
  • Possess strong communication and presentation skills
  • Valid Driver’s License, good driving record and a reliable automobile
  • Hyper detail oriented and organized
  • Be an organized, self-motivated team player
  • Must be a problem solver and willing to learn
  • Live in the Greater Seattle area (position is based in Auburn, WA)
