POSITION OVERVIEW

Mass. Bay Brewing Company (MBBC), parent company to Harpoon, UFO, Clown Shoes, Arctic Summer and City Roots, is seeking an Arctic Summer Digital Marketing Coordinator who will be involved in the management of all Arctic Summer social channels. This individual will help brainstorm and develop social and digital content to increase brand awareness across different digital communications channels, manage several social communities and help execute the external communications plan. This individual will coordinate the tactical details of a content marketing & communications strategy that engages users across different digital channels. The Arctic Summer Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for all tactical content distribution via email, social and web.

  • Community Management
    • Hootsuite social media management and monitoring
    • Answering consumer questions and engaging across all platforms
  • Blog for Arctic Summer
    • Brainstorming
    • Writing
    • Posting
  • Email - Arctic Summer Newsletter
    • Creation
    • Editing
    • Development of email in MailChimp
    • Email scheduling

Events - Collaborating with Arctic Summer Brand Activation Specialist

  • Creation of Splash pages
  • Sales Events - Karma Notes/SurveyMonkey
    • Adding Facebook events and sending to corresponding Sales team for promotion
    • Social promotion through Instagram and Twitter
  • Monthly event emails
    • Creation
    • Editing
    • Development of email in MailChimp
    • Email scheduling

Arctic Summer VIP Mailing List

  • Collaborating on the development of the loyalty program by providing insightful ideas regarding ways to promote greater existing loyalist engagement and obtain more loyalists
  • Responding to customer outreach
  • Responsible for communication with all rewards program winners

Other Tasks

  • Checking info email and forwarding inquiries to the appropriate team members
  • Responding to all other customer service inquiries
  • Checking out and mailing promotional items, tickets and beer as needed, including FOH winners

 

REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Valid and clean driver's license
  • Bachelor's degree in communications or marketing preferred, and 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong writing skills across all marketing communication types - social media, website content, event pages, email newsletters and blog posts
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies
  • Demonstrated social media experience; content creation, metrics/analysis and execution of social strategy
  • Experience in graphic design for content creation
  • Attention to detail; ability to multi-task in a stressful environment with an innate ability to problem-solve on the fly
  • Self-starter & team player; ability to work independently without much supervision while also working closely with others in a team environment, and being comfortable with hands-on work
  • Flexibility; ability to adapt to the wide-ranging tasks associated with this role, from working in an office environment to being on-site at Festival grounds
