Position Title: Sales Ambassador (Sales Rep), Western Washington  

Position Summary: Responsible for maintaining and growing Dru Bru’s distributed sales volume and revenue for the greater Seattle area (King, Pierce, and Thurston Counties). Coordinate sales efforts with distributor partners and manage events including, brewer’s nights, tap takeovers, beer festivals, and more. 

Management of On-Premise Sales through Distributors:

  • Act as Dru Bru field agent to boost sales and establish/maintain relationships on the ground level

    • Act as Dru Bru field agent with primary goal of obtaining new draft distribution placements. Close on sales and verify order execution through Columbia Distribution. 

    • Build relationships and understanding of ordering trends with retail account decision makers

    • Introduce retail establishments to new products (or to brand as a whole if necessary)

    • Provide “maintenance” support for accounts with frequent and/or permanent Dru Bru presence. 

    • Main point of contact for “beer buyers” to answer questions and resolve issues

    • Work to drive handle pulls through POS and other customer interaction points (menu placements, pairings, etc)

    • Organize and execute customer events (brewery nights, tap take overs, etc)

  • Develop relationships and provide support to distributor sales reps as needed

    • Work to develop contacts and relationships with Columbia Distributing sales team in the Greater Seattle Area. Schedule and execute ride-a-longs, attend events at Distributor office when available. 

    • Main point of contact for all distributor sales reps for any and all Dru Bru needs including product and beer release questions, tap handle support, and event support. 

Report and Discuss Sales Activities and Happenings to Management

  • Conduct monthly sales review with Management

    • Prepare for and execute monthly sales summary with notes on Targets vs Actual sales. Trends, successes, shortcomings, and challenges. 

    • Sales expense review

    • Discuss upcoming events and marketing needs 

    • Keep in regular contact (weekly) with Management about sales status, needs, and progress

 

Monitor and Meet Sales Expense Budget

  • Monitor and report all credit card expenses (through Expensify)

  • Enter all promotional giveaways, sample beers, and POS into Ekos

  • Monitor sales expenses and stay at or under monthly budget

Manage and Organize Events with the support of Senior Sales Rep:

  • Work with management and Senior sales rep to establish Go/No-Go on festivals and events

    • Create, monitor and execute staffing plan for events and festivals

    • Notify Marketing of events as scheduled for promotion needs

  • Follow event standards of practice to ensure that event equipment and marketing materials are cleaned, stocked, organized, and current.


Requirements:

  • Minimum one year experience working as a beer sales rep either with a beer supplier or beer wholesaler

  • Ability to work flexible schedule; ability to work nights and weekends

  • Must be 21 years of age or older 

  • Frequent travel within assigned territory

  • Must have a valid Driver’s license and a personal vehicle
