The successful candidate will be insightful and indefatigable, a resourceful problem solver of even temper, good humor and unimpeachable integrity.Based in Kansas City, the position will:
  • Oversee and coordinate financial planning and budget management functions to ensure our procedures and reporting conform to GAAP for the US and Group (IFRS)
  • Spearhead forecasting and financial analysis
  • Supervise HR activities including compensation, benefits, employee relations, training and employee services
  • Manage the business software team to assure alignment with strategic priorities
  • Liaise with Duvel Moortgat’s functional leadership (finance, HR, ICT) in Belgium
  • Actively participate in strategic planning and business decision analysis, working closely with the senior leadership team to ensure our continued success
 KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business with strong Accounting experience
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including GAAP for both USA and Group (IFRS)
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting reporting systems (Microsoft Dynamics/Navision is a plus)
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
  • Working knowledge of cost accounting, short- and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis
  • Experience with international organizations
  • Experience with beer, beverages or CPG preferred
