We’re excited here at Revolution Brewing about the possibilities for our Brand Activation Coordinator. This is a role where you’ll build relationships with our partners and drive grassroots engagement with our fans. This role will support the marketing team as we strategize on events and retail initiatives that support Rev’s annual business plans and work to create memorable experiences at our events. 

The key elements of this role will be coordinating our sponsorships, events, and retail marketing activations. You’ll have a chance to be a creative voice launching Revolution’s event activations and also innovate where you see opportunities. As a result, this role is based out of our production brewery offices with a schedule that will have a heavy amount of time leaning to nights and weekends, as you’ll be setting up and leading our various marketing events.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Cultivate Rev’s brand associations with creative and engaging event-based experiences. Identify and develop exciting marketing occasions & opportunities via relationships with local and regional partners, as well as large national partners. 

  • Organize the core elements of what makes a great Rev marketing event (e.g. sponsored music/food festivals, beer fests, etc.). Take charge of the planning, partner communications, on-site management, and execution and make a memorable event!

  • Work with the Communications Department to turn our events and activations into storytelling opportunities, and facilitate relationships between our partners and Rev’s social media team. Help us tell their stories with Rev.

  • Rep the Marketing Team on internal committees for retail brewery events (e.g. Oktoberfest, Pride, Spirit of Revolt), providing guidance on incorporating Sales & Marketing programming and assist in the planning for these major in-house consumer events.

  • This role tracks all event equipment; ensuring all equipment is clean and in working order at all times.

  • You’ll be working with the Marketing Manager to complete comprehensive recaps (presentation, SWOT, budget, etc) for all events, sponsorships and partner renewals. 

  • Assist in editing original promotional materials for events using Adobe Creative Suite products. We have a great graphics team but you’ll need to be able to edit dates, add band names, and more.


Keys for Success

  • We’re looking for at least a Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • You’ll have to show demonstrated experience in event management (coordination, set-up, breakdown, post-event analysis), along with experience in project coordination or management.

  • Extraordinary organization skills are required to be successful in this role, coupled with excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. A great way to convey this will be with a cover letter showcasing how your past experience is relevant to this role.

  • Strong practical knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with required experience in building and editing production ready files for different end applications.

  • Proficiency in Google’s G Suite products, as well as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, is a must.

  • Backend website management experience (Wordpress, Drupal, etc), on the other hand, is a plus!
