The Brewery General Manageris responsible for developing people and processes to uphold Black Tooth Brewing Co's standards. The Brewery General Manager acts as a dynamic, passionate customer service professional with a keen sense of proper guest relations, drives and leads both our Front and Back of the House teams, and demonstrates a strong financial acumen with great foresight.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Effectively manage both Front and Back-of-house operations
  • Ensure positive guest experiences in all areas of property and when needed, take action/respond accordingly to guest issues and or complaints in a timely matter
  • Hire, train, and develop responsible and effective professionals who demonstrate their passion for customer satisfaction and who are empowered to suggest new ideas
  • Understand and maximize financial performances through honest and capable accounting practices
  • Ensure all financial reporting, invoices, and personnel/payroll related materials are secured, submitted accurately, and in the parameters set forth by BTB.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate staffing plan for proper execution at all times
  • Develop strong relationships with other departments and support collaboration throughout the business for the best customer experience, and growth of Black Tooth employees
  • Uphold BTB safety and security requirements and procedures, in all aspects, in order to protect the company and its employees at all times
  • Uphold standards which exceed regulatory industry standards for health code, quality, and cleanliness
  • Follow business practices that are within the law and consistent with all policies and procedures set forth by BTB
  • Act as a role model for the team, consistently demonstrating the BTB Values
  • Support the Marketing Produced Events team to produce impactful, meaningful onsite events to increase the value of our brand
  • Treat people with respect, inspire the trust of others, role model company’s Values

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to execute and manage details for multiple projects while maintaining alignment with and focus on company level strategy and goals
  • An interest in and love of craft beer
  • Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional customer service
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to effectively use scheduling and budget systems
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and apply appropriate judgment in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to motivate employees to work as a team
  • Ability to effectively respond to feedback from customers, peers, employees and management
  • Ability to consistently maintain professionalism, collaboration, and self-motivation

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of five years of successful management experience in a bar or restaurant
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Quick Books experience
  • Proven track record of hiring, training, and developing high performing teams
  • Demonstrated success in project management

  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds without assistance and maneuver 168 pounds safely with proper body mechanics
  • Moving large quantities of food products with carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other moving equipment
  • This position will require you to stand, walk and be on your feet for long periods
  • Ladder climbing
  • Bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and performing repetitive motions
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus in various levels of lighting

Additional REQUIREMENTS

  • Full time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays)
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License with a driving record free of any major violations in the last five years.
  • Possible travel to other BTB locations occasionally required
