We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dependable candidate to join our growing marketing team. The role of the Marketing Assistant must be ready to take on a wide variety of tasks and assist the marketing department in day-to-day activities and operations.

The following serves as an outline of the roles and responsibilities of a Marketing Assistant for Wormtown Brewery.  The job includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Participate regularly in brainstorming sessions for the development of marketing campaigns and take detailed notes of meetings
  • Carry out administrative and data entry-related tasks and maintain organized files
  • Assist in the creation of email campaigns, press releases and social media content/calendar
  • Contribute to the design of graphics, merchandise and photography
  • Data collection and monthly reporting for campaigns and social efforts
  • Monitor, maintain and update online listings, hours, and reviews
  • Seek and analyze competitor marketing material and digital content
  • Help plan, execute, and attend on-site and off-site events and festivals
  • Track and perform bi-weekly inventory counts on all marketing items, POS, merchandise

Requirements:

  • Passion for the beverage industry and growing in the marketing field
    • Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Graphic Design skills and understanding of Adobe software a must
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to work well in a team environment
      • Results-driven focus and strong work ethic to overcome challenges and accomplish specific goals
      • Knowledge of website maintenance, SEO, social/online platforms and best practices a plus
      • Flexible work schedule
      • Reliable vehicle for travel as needed.

      Compensation:

      • Compensation commensurate with experience
      • Health Insurance eligible after 90 days
      • 401K, eligible after 6 months
      • Stipend in Tap Room
      • 5 Personal / sick days a year
      • 1 week paid vacation time after first year
