Seeking Highly experienced talented brewer in the industry must have experience with Small scale brewing operation and production.

Requirements:

Previous experience overseeing-

On-site brewing, including all brewing process and maintenance operations.

Knowledgable with the production of brew, recipe development, follow through leading to the development of new offerings.

Off site-sales. The brewery will operate in tandem with a bar/event and live music venue.

Must have experience working in increasingly senior roles across brewing operations, process improvement, quality management and brewing research.

Must be willing to work in conjunction with management, brewery owners to develop interesting and unique beers that consumers will enjoy.  This will involve creating recipes and brewing small batches for testing.  The beers must be designed to not only taste great, but to satisfy consumer demand in the market.

Some mechanical knowledge and familiarity with brewing components- will train on equipment off-site, if not familiar with Crawford equipment.

Quality assurance skills and drive for continual improvement

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

Responsible for all aspects of the beer production process and day to day operations of the brewery.

Responsible for the quality of beers that brewery produces.

Responsible for Beer and Yeast monitoring, take gravities, cell counts, Fermentation and packaging Quality control with laboratory certification, temperature and CO2 monitoring.

Must have experience System Troubleshooting (Brewhouse, fermenters, condition tanks and beer tanks)

Understand the marketability of the beers produced and work in conjunction with staff and the brewery owners to develop successful beers.

 Raw Material Orders

 Keep tax information and records

 Weekly inventory of beer production

 Weekly inventory of sales

Experience in any of the following is preferable, but not required:

An understanding of quality assurance methods and techniques, laboratory operations, and basic knowledge of chemistry and biology

Prior packaging, bottling, racking, and barrel aging experience appreciated.

Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
