General Sales Manager

            We are seeking a General Sales Manager to oversee the existing market performance of our craft and “better for you” alcoholic beverage brands. This is a strategic management position focused on measuring and improving the performance of distribution partners across the US. You will be working alongside our National Accounts Manager and VP of Sales to grow points of distribution, sales velocity and product support programs for all brands.

We are a data driven firm, enthusiastic about the use of information technology to provide insight into how we can become a more effective, efficient and nimble sales organization. This position will revolve around the use of data to gain perspective on the performance of our distribution partners, geographic territories, and territory managers. A fluid understanding of CRMs, Microsoft Excel, and Beverage Distribution Data is integral to success.

This position requires an adept manager with a knack for building exceptional teams. Optimistic persistence and an ability to engage in cooperative management with distribution partners is crucial

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Annual Business Plan preparation with Distribution Partners
  • Cooperatively managing distribution partners
  • Monitoring and executing ABPs
  • Planning and implementing quarterly one-off sales programs
  • Managing territory representatives
  • Measuring performance of territories using multiple metrics over time (volume, points of distribution, placements by brand, velocity by brand).
  • Advising on pricing strategy
  • Advising on brand positioning



  • Track record of successful team management
  • Experience managing distribution partners
  • Data driven mindset, aptitude for planning & execution
  • Fluency using CRMs, Microsoft Excel, Alcohol Distribution Platforms (VIP, Lillypad)
  • Working knowledge of alcoholic beverage distribution tiers
