In 1850 our family began farming along the Sacramento River in Courtland CA.  Today with over 1,000 acres in production our newest "branch" is growing fast and in need of a passionate and talented individual to help us build and grow our family run business.  Hemly Cider is our 100% estate grown, craft cider.  It was developed to showcase the passion and work that we put into growing our favorite fruit: Pears.  If you too are passionate about authenticity, craft and looking to join a team dedicated passionate about craft, we would love to hear from you!

Your Daily Role

  • Activate New Accounts while Maintaining and Growing existing Accounts
  • Work directly with our distributor(s) and their teams
  • Working with management, develop and implement sales strategy and targets.
  • Preform Sales Visits and Meetings with Accounts and Corporate Buying Groups
  • Organize and attend Samplings, On-Premise Events and Beer Festivals

Job Description

  • Direct sales while working closely with Distributors
  • Create sales growth by maintaining existing accounts and opening new ones
  • Interface with consumers and accounts as a representative of the brand
  • Achieve pre-determined quarterly and yearly sales objectives
  • Attend sales meetings with high-level data to grow territory
  • Manage and coordinate inventory with distribution manager and distributor
  • Plan, attend, and execute special events, promotions, festivals as needed   
  • Ensure thorough coverage of POS material at accounts, and provide additional sales support as needed
  • Provide daily and weekly reporting on job activity as needed
  • Responsible for timely response (within 24 hours) on all communications
  • Merchandise accounts within territory as needed
  • Attend distributor meetings and energize sales team
  • Train distributors sales team on product
  • Train and educate wholesale accounts and staff on our cider and cider in general

Desired Skills

  • Must be 21 years of age at time of application
  • Experience in craft cider or beer industry
  • Reside in assigned territory
  • Evenings, weekend, and holiday availability required
  • Microsoft Office, Excel proficiency
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, solid reliability, and consistent follow up required
  • Ability to stay focused and productive without direct supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire to meet new people
  • Traveling/Commuting required
  • Tolerance for Pear Puns
