Montucky Cold Snacks (MCS) is actively looking for a Sales Representative to join our fast-growing company. We are an American style lager beer based in Bozeman, MT with our core values centering around giving back to the community and inspiring other to have fun. We looking for a candidate who is a self-starter and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
Job Description & Responsibilities
Work with existing distributors, reps, and retail partners (both on and off-premise) through events and representing the Montucky Cold Snacks brand in many different settings.
Maintain a consistent market visitation schedule to develop effective relationships with key accounts, distributors, nonprofits and charities.
Coordinate wholesaler activities within assigned areas of responsibility, ensuring the implementation of all sales and marketing programs for the MCS portfolio.
Motivate distributor managers and sales team to achieve sales objectives, including the development and oversight of wholesaler incentive programs.
Work with local distributors to increase brand awareness and volume.
Build and foster long standing relationships with existing customers to identify and execute opportunities in the market for additional revenue growth.
Communicate with MCS distributors to make sure they have all POS materials.
Maximize the use of POS materials, by having a thorough understanding of their placement and relevance.
Follow fiscal sales and marketing plans.
Meet with potential customers to discuss products and orders.
Prepares sales reports for meetings whenever necessary.
Give professional presentations or demonstrations of company product(s).
Overcome objections of prospective customers.
Emphasize our products and service features and benefits, discussing prices, and upselling our entire portfolio.
Maintain accurate records, including account reports, expense reimbursement forms, and other documentation.
Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other research.
Answer telephone and e-mail communications in a timely fashion.
Meet and communicate with founders and key personnel of the company on a regular basis.
Evaluate current operations as well as newly implemented operations without bias to continually evolve how we approach markets, promotions, and customers.
Highly personable with an ability to make connections with a diverse number of people in diverse settings
2 years key account experience with the majority of the experience in the beer industry.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
Ability to work flexible schedule, including some weekends.
Professional demeanor, selling style, and appearance.
Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time and territory management.
Able to use a laptop and email, proficient with Microsoft office products, pdf documents, and utilize a CRM software and expense tracking software.
Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
High level of integrity and work ethic.
Reliable vehicle and the ability to travel often.
Must possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
Position will be based in AZ.
