Nine Pin Ciderworks, New York’s first farm cidery, is looking for an experienced sales representative to cover our Massachusetts and Connecticut sales territory.  Nine Pin Cider crafts quality craft ciders from 100% local apples.  Cider styles are packaged in kegs, bottles and cans.  This sales representative will be responsible for building and maintaining professional relationships with our distributor and retail accounts (both on and off premise) in order to grow sales and increase brand presence.

Job requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Build on and off premise hard cider business in key areas
  • Work closely with distributors to educate and gain placements in bars, restaurants, grocery and liquor stores etc.
  • Organize tastings and events with key on premise/off premise accounts
  • In-person meetings with key accounts
  • Training distributors, retail accounts, bartenders and wait staff on brand/product
  • Keeping accurate records of daily sales activities
  • Participate in weekly and monthly sales meetings


  • Keen interest in the craft beverage industry
  • Desire to build a career in sales
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1 to 3 years of proven results-oriented experience in outside sales or within the food & beverage industry
  • An intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results
  • Excellent problem solving & communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities 
  • Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously
  • Ability to lift and move cases of cider frequently
