Anheuser-Busch is actively seeking a Regional Manager (Full Time Contract Position) to support a national sampling program in 3 market locations including Northern CA (San Francisco), Southern CA (Los Angeles) and Phoenix/Las Vegas. The Regional Manager will work one-on-one with the client on-site, as well as oversee the management of multiple markets and teams of Brand Ambassadors to ensure flawless execution of weekly on and off premise sampling events in key accounts.

Candidates must be highly motivated and results-oriented. A successful candidate also has an:

  • Ability to combine experience and insight to determine how to best meet program needs
  • Ability to identify problems and provide solutions for the same
  • Ability to set and communicate clear, aligned goals and monitor team progress

The Regional Manager will be responsible for building their teams of Brand Ambassadors to execute these activations – working closely with various wholesalers and their respective teams to schedule appropriate accounts in order to meet execution goals to assist in sales growth for a variety of Anheuser-Busch brands.

Experience Requirements:

  • Must reside in (Los Angeles, San Francisco or Phoenix)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related industry
  • 5-7 years of sales and/or marketing experience
  • Ability to manage multiple remote teams simultaneously
  • Experience in management of Brand Ambassador teams
  • Proven success in the execution and evaluation of sampling programs
  • Experience with recruiting, interviewing, and training Brand Ambassadors
  • Experience in creating weekly schedules with specific parameters for execution
  • Experience with approving team events, recaps, and payroll systems
  • Experience in the alcohol or beverage industry preferred
  • Must possess an in-depth knowledge of the On-Premise (IE: Bar/Tavern/Venue) and Off Premise (IE: C-Store/Grocery) Channels
  • Strong communication skills – both internal and external
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Docs


  • Works to ensure flawless execution of trade programs, partnering with the multiple local wholesaler teams
  • Works directly with multiple wholesalers to create schedule and consult on strategy to meet program expectation and hit KPIs
  • Manages all aspects of Brand Ambassador team including: recruitment, training, weekly event execution, and reporting
  • Provides direction to Brand Ambassadors while continuously evaluating performance
  • Responsible for creating Brand Ambassador schedule while adhering to program goals
  • Maintains a working partnership with local wholesaler and key accounts
  • Performs pre-calls and checklists in preparation for sampling events
  • Ensures Brand Ambassadors are properly equipped with merchandise and materials needed to execute sampling events
  • Monitors event execution while ensuring all key brand KPIs are achieved
  • Submits program deliverables accurately and on time each week
  • Knowledge of local alcohol beverage laws
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
