Craft Pride is currently seeking a General Manager that appreciates this specialized concept and all of the fine details and commitment it takes to lead this dedicated team. Training will be extensive but the current GM will be helping you with a lot of it for an easier transition into your new position.
The General Manager is entrusted to oversee all operations. The following list of responsibilities includes but is not limited to: * The very special task of ordering beer and maintaining great relations with all the people and businesses we work with on a daily basis. * Also, the very special tasks of ensuring the patron’s experience as well as assessing the staff’s experience. * Some of the expected tasks: staff education of new products, data entry of new products, vendor invoices, monthly inventory, sales and cost control assessments along with continued maintenance of FOH and BOH systems. Event planning and menu curation. Staff scheduling, recruitment and training and ongoing development with education and training, conduct all-staff meetings, lead monthly manager meetings. Cash handling, administration, and accounting. Maintenance of high standard protocols, clean lines, equipment, building, and property as well as keep the kegs and bottle shoppe items in the cooler organized with a tap schedule.
Requirements and Experience: This General Manager position requires a candidate that is highly motivated and well organized with the determination to keep communication with staff current - very important. The candidate needs to be able to work alone as well as switch gears and be an effective member of the team. It is expected that you can troubleshoot and problem-solve during high volume times in front of everyone while maintaining yourself and setting a good example.
* Service Industry Management experience is necessary. * Current TABC, TX Certified Food Manager, and Cicerone (Level 1) certifications required. * Open availability, reliable transportation, some heavy lifting. * Current systems: Aloha and HotSchedules - helpful if you know them but, not crucial.
Compensation: TBD based on experience. Salary comes with comps and PTO after a 90-day probationary review.
