A multi-award winning national and international brewer of specialty craft beers, Empire Brewing Company was established in 1994 as a micro-brewery and restaurant in Syracuse, NY. In 2016, Empire opened one of the largest farm breweries in the Northeast. Empire Farm Brewery earned the Judge’s Choice Award for 2017 Best Brewery in New York.

SUMMARY

The Regional Brand Manager is responsible for sales, support and marketing Empire Brewing Company’s award winning hand crafted ales and lagers to the consumer and licensed operator by working independently, with distributor representatives and with fellow Empire Brewing Company employees. 

JOB DUTIES 

 •  Represent Empire Brewing Company values and be an “ambassador of the brand”

 •  Promote Empire Beers in the defined distributors sales area

 •  Develop and implement location based strategy for Empire beer

 •  Work with the Empire team and distributors to maintain existing on and off-premise

     accounts and establish new opportunities

 •  Work with marketing to create POS, marketing materials and PR

 •  Manage wholesaler inventory including forecasts, orders and allocation

 •  Perform quarterly wholesaler warehouse audits

 •  Conduct monthly and quarterly wholesaler reviews

 •  Participate in Annual Business Plans with distributors

 •  Must have advanced computer skills to analyze VIP and BeerRun data as well as Karma    

 •  Conduct brand training with distributors, retailers and consumers                                                

 •  Manage on and off-premise tastings, events and festivals                                                          

 •  Ensure that installations of Empire beers are done properly and quality is controlled        

 •  Develop and manage e/personal twitter, face-book, blogger and general social media

     strategy for Empire beers

 •  Develop a media outreach contact list and strategy for the market

 JOB REQUIREMENTS

 • Live in the representing Market

 • Possesses a dynamic personality with strong public speaking and communication skills

 • Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

 • Excellent organizational skills

 • Strong sales skills

 • Self motivated with a flexible schedule

 • Educated on the three-tier distribution system

 • Strong craft beer knowledge

 • Existing relationships in the craft beer community of the territory

 • At least two years of beer industry experience

 • Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office

 • The willingness to travel

 • Excellent oral, written, analytical and communication skills

 • Love Empire beers
