Artbev is a unique beverage manufacturer based in Greenfield, MA. We produce three distinct product lines: Katalyst Kombucha, Ginger Libation and Green River Ambrosia Mead.
We seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team and be on track to become a worker-owner of the cooperative. This person will lead our sales team in maximizing its potential and manage our distributor and customer relationships. This position offers the opportunity to influence the direction and growth of the business.
Sales and Marketing Manager responsibilities include:
Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team.
Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues.
Communicate with other team managers to ensure achievement of sales objectives.
Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts.
Coordinate events, tastings and demos and attend where appropriate.
Develop, track and analyze sales budgets, forecasts, and sales
Attend trade meetings and industry conventions.
Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results.
Oversee label and materials production.
Aid in designing and coordinate placement of advertisements.
Reach out to appropriate media outlets with press releases and ads.
Manage Social Media presence.
Coordinate with staff.
Ensure we stay “on message.”
Plan for website updates when new products are released including professional photography of new item (s).
Review website; suggest and implement updates.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Ability to manage a sales team and help develop their skills and effectiveness
Excellent communication skills.
Strong leadership skills
Sales experience in the beverage industry
Understanding of distribution networks and retail markets in the natural foods and alcoholic beverage industry
Ability to work independently and to coordinate with coop members and managers as part of a team.
Clean driving record and reliable vehicle
Knowledge of Quickbooks, and Microsoft office (or equivalent), graphics software a plus.
We will consider sales only experience but would prefer a candidate that can manage both sales and marketing.
Compensation commensurate with fit and experience.
