About the Production Analyst role:
The ideal candidate for the Production Analyst role would have strong analytical capabilities and is an expert level Orchestrated beer user. The Production Analyst’s job is to maximize the productivity of the brewery and the quality of our products by optimizing our current ERP software and ensuring accurate planning and scheduling. When possible, this person will assist with collecting and analyzing data, mapping and assessing our processes, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
This candidate will also have the drive to seek-out improvement opportunities in all areas of Production, and the ability to develop and present actionable initiatives. In addition, the Production Analyst would have the ability to contribute and oversee other operational processes and project management functions.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Utitlize ERP/MRP (O-Beer and other systems) to generate production schedules, raw and packaging ordering, manage inventory and other related activities
Perform all production scheduling for 40 BBL brew house and 1600 BBL cellar and packaging dept.
Own inventory management and supply chain management including raw materials procurement and logistics planning
Maintain and publish daily and weekly KPI reports for presentation across multiple levels of the organization
Assist with the development, execution, and tracking of continuous improvement initiatives
Measure operational results and track financial impact to ensure goals are achieved
Work collaboratively across Operations (Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, QA) to identify opportunities, develop best practices, and implement change
Work with management on special projects, such as capacity expansion projects and quality initiatives
Contribute to safety initiatives and LHBCo’s ongoing commitment to safety
Production Analyst qualifications:
At a minimum, the Production Analyst must have the following qualifications:
Expert with Orchestrated Beer
4 year degree
3+ years of relevant analytical experience (brewery or relevant beverage industry experience preferred)
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing operations and processes
Exceptional MS Excel skills and strong aptitude with Google Suite
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma
The desire to work in a fast-paced, growing company
Ability to prioritize work and maintain productivity with minimal oversight
Ability to work in a brewery environment which may be loud, slick, humid, and hot/cold
