Jack’s Abby Brewing has an immediate opening for a single Upstate NY Brewery Sales Representative for its growing Sales Team.  Jack’s Abby was founded in 2011 by three brothers, Jack, Eric and Sam Hendler. It is one of the fastest growing breweries in the country and known for making beautiful craft lagers under the Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers brand, as well as an innovative line of barrel-aged sours and new age ales under the Springdale brand.

The Upstate NY Sales Representative’s mission will be to support the sales efforts for Jack’s Abby Brewing by building and maintaining relationships with on- and off-premise account personnel, coordinating daily operations with distributor reps, and promoting the visibility of Jack’s Abby brands in the marketplace.  The ideal candidate lives in the Greater Capital Region, though applicants throughout central NY may be considered.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage sales and build lasting client relationships with minimal daily oversight.

  • Participate in overall sales strategy and goals planning for Jack’s Abby Brewing sales in given region.

  • Partner with distributors to meet sales goals and objectives.

  • Prospect new business, successfully winning new on- and off- premise accounts.

  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in events such as tap takeovers, regional beer fests, beer dinners and in-store tastings.

  • Keep detailed records of current and prospective accounts.

  • Report daily operations to Market Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years professional experience, preferably in Outside Sales.

  • Self-starter; ability to manage and prioritize workload with minimal oversight.

  • Awareness of New England craft beer market trends.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Google suite.

  • Ability to travel throughout territory as-needed.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Appreciation of craft beer and the culture that goes with it.
