Supervise all delivery personnel on the road to ensure adherence to company policies through maximizing productivity, safety, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute a defined ride-with schedule
  • Conduct comprehensive time evaluations
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs by streamlining daily procedures
  • Ensure effective communication between departments and within the department
  • Conduct regular training for delivery employees
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints
  • Investigate motor vehicle incidents
  • Investigate employee injuries and work with retailers regarding potential hazardous conditions
  • Identify and resolve concerns with full product loss
  • Review Mobilecast daily with drivers
  • Work with logistics coordinator to ensure efficient routing
  • Special projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in a business related major
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent decision-making ability
  • Strong computer knowledge, especially in MS Word and Excel
  • Ability and willingness to work independently
  • Driver’s license and car for daily use
  • Prior management in a Union environment is preferred.

Critical Physical Demands:

  • Walking and climbing stairs
  • Two handed lifting, handling and carrying of cases from the floor to overhead levels
  • Two handed lifting, handling and carrying of barrels
  • Pushing and pulling a hand truck and/or cart on level and inclined surfaces
  • Sustained squatting, kneeling, and/or bending while handling products
