Keystone Fermentation Supply in Montgomeryville, PA is seeking an energetic, self-starting individual to represent their extensive portfolio of wood-aging vessels, equipment and accessories to customers in the beer, wine and spirits sectors. KFS is proud to work with some of the country's most successful and respected producers of barrel-aged and sour beer as well as award-winning vintners and distillers. The focus of this position is to increase KFS’s sales of new and used oak barrels, casks and foudres by building strong relationships with our existing account base, while at the same time identifying and exploring new opportunities in the marketplace. This is a full-time, relationship-focused sales job perfect for someone with a proven sales track record and existing connections in the beverage alcohol industry. Some knowledge of the fermentation process is necessary, with experience in barrel or other wood-aging preferred. Attitude and resolve will be given equal consideration to experience. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Consistently growing sales in the specified region through extensive email and telephone communication
Develop relationships with existing accounts while aggressively pursuing other market opportunities
Occasional presence at trade shows and other industry expositions (15% travel)
Effectively report to management on market conditions including strengths, weaknesses and opportunities
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational proficiency, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and a love and understanding of all things wood-aged. While some telecommuting is possible, this position is based out of the Philadelphia region as attendance at regularly scheduled meetings and other activities in Montgomeryville is required; also required are a valid driver's license and reliable automobile.
