We are looking for an outgoing, energetic, passionate person to join our team as the first market representative for Threes Brewing. The position will be responsible for working with wholesale and corporate accounts and help steer how our beer is presented and delivered within the NYC area. S/he will be expected to build relationships with accounts, externally and with an overall focus on helping in every way to make the best beer possible.  This is a critical role as it will be a key conduit in humanizing Threes Brewing's emerging beer brand.

General Responsibilities

- Evangelize Threes Brewing  by highlighting our brand positioning, product quality & core values
- Establish and nurture customer relationships with defined target account list
- Identify new opportunities by finding prospects and evaluating their market position
- Enthusiastically represent Threes at festivals, events & tastings, both at the brewery and offsite
- Communicate with customers in person, by phone and in email
- Deliver relative to assigned targets, while prioritizing outstanding customer experience
- Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, prioritizing needs of Threes & our customers
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
- Work cross functionally with production team, operations and brewpub staff
- Deliver market feedback and suggestions to Threes leadership team by remaining current on industry trends, pricing & other market activities
- Develop and maintain professional and technical knowledge by leveraging internally training and external resources

 Requirements:
- Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written) and relationship building skills
- Self-starter, inquisitive and comfortable with collaborating with customers and co-workers
- Strong knowledge of craft beer industry and its retail consumers
- Minimum of one year in sales, preferably adult beverage sales
- Experience working in the three tier distribution system either with a beer wholesaler or beer supplier a big plus
- Must be meticulously organized with outstanding time management skills
- Exceptional team player with a passion for the craft beer industry
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
- Ability to travel extensively throughout market
- Intermediate computer skills, specifically working with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps
- Experience with sales/Customer Relationship Management software
- Experience with sales data writing, reporting, and analysis
- Proficiency with draft beer systems preferred, but otherwise willing to learn
- Must pass pre-employment background check, including motor vehicle record
