Legacy is looking for an outgoing, approachable craft beer specialist to engage, educate and sample both the trade and consumers in on-premise accounts/bars. This individual will primarily be responsible for visiting, scheduling and executing the program within the approved framework, working closely with the local craft beer clients. The ideal candidate will have an intricate knowledge of both the craft beer industry as well as the local bar scene, using his or her natural ability to communicate and connect with others.

The program will run from early November 2017 – February 2018, and it will require having a flexible schedule, including working nights and weekends. Approx. 20 - 30 hours/week. Timing may vary.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Visit accounts on a weekly basis to educate and sample consumers and trade in the on-premise
  • Bring your own personal style, energy and knowledge to the brand-supplied talk points
  • Communicate program progress to HQ & local clients on a consistent basis
  • Execute program within approved budget and framework
  • Establish and maintain relationships with accounts
  • Manage program inventory
  • Provide detailed post-event recaps using online reporting system

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of craft beer industry
  • Natural ability to connect with others and have in-depth conversations
  • Approachable, open and positive attitude
  • High energy, initiative, and drive
  • Intimate knowledge of local account landscape
  • Comfortable working in nightlight/bar setting
  • Previous on-premise experience (preferred)
  • Must be available to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends
  • Must have an extremely flexible schedule
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to accept program deliveries/shipments
  • Must NOT be involved with, working for, or representing any other beer, wine, or spirits brand
  • Must have reliable form of transportation for travel within the general market area where public transportation not widely available


  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • Cicerone Level 1 Training (strongly preferred)
  • Must have TIPS certification (or be willing to obtain certification through Legacy)
