Christian Moerlein Brewing Co. and its subsidiary Hudepohl-Schoenling Brewing Co. are looking for a talented Director of Sales for their dynamic, fast paced, craft environment based in Cincinatti, Ohio. We are a successful craft beverage company and a top regional competitor operating in a multistate territory. We are poised to win regionally and look to become a top national brewery leveraging our Little Kings Cream Ale brand. This critical and pivotal position will report directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing.
The Director of Sales is responsible for managing assigned brands, territory, sales volume and profitability goals in alignment with the annual plan. The Director of Sales oversees activities related to developing and implementing strategic sales plans based on company goals in coordination with the overall marketing strategy. The Director of Sales collaborates with the VP of Sales & Marketing to implement business and market development, market research and planning, strategic direction for promotion and advertising, sales growth and customer satisfaction. The Director of Sales is accountable for the sales, directing and actual distribution of products, and profitability of assigned CMHS products. The Director of Sales develops the sales team and oversees daily activity.
The ideal candidate will be a proven sales leader with in-depth industry experience and a true passion for craft beverages. Experience should include management of distributor, chain store, brand and P&L. A Bachelor's degree in business administration or related business degree is required with a preference for an MBA. You must have exceptional project management skills, record of building high-performance teams and outstanding relationships with internal and external customers. A strong work-ethic with proactive communication skills that encourages courageous conversations are a must.
