The role of Warehouse Supervisor involves overseeing the day to day activity at MBA’s warehouse including warehouse supervision, quality assurance, product rotation, facilities maintenance, shipping and receiving, delivery routing and delivery supervision.  It would be preferred for the Warehouse Supervisor have experience working in the fast-moving consumer goods industry and is use to the minutiae and complexities of managing 1000+ perishable SKUs.  The Warehouse Supervisor must be extremely organized, reliable, able to handle multiple tasks at once, have acute attention to detail, a problem solver, comfortable with constant change, motivated, confident, and have a passion for craft beer.


Inventory/Quality Assurance

  • Schedule pick up for MBA purchase orders based on the orders placed by Director of Sales
  • Track, follow up, and confirm incoming supplier deliveries to determine actual delivery date to MBA and communicate to all relevant parties
  • Maintain communication with MBA’s Director of Sales relating to current inventory of MBA brands identifying short coded, out of code, or short seasoned items
  • Identify short-coded or out of code items during receiving of incoming shipments and alert Director of Sales of any issues
  • Proper handling of BOLs/invoices, transfer BOLs/invoices, and empty cooperage return BOLs/invoices
  • Monitor and rotate product in accordance with code date standards for existing and incoming inventory to assure premium freshness at all times
  • Communicate incoming point of sale shipments to Director of Sales in timely and efficient manner

Warehouse Supervision

  • Recruit, interview, train new MBA warehouse workers
  • Daily motivation, supervision, and monitoring of warehouse personnel
  • Prepare daily paperwork for distributor transfers, direct retail orders, incoming shipments, cooperage returns, and other transfers
  • Hold warehouse workers accountable for safety, assure all workers adhere to OSHA safety standards
  • Shift coverage during absences such as vacations and sick time

Facilities Management

  • Assure warehouse (including: beer coolers, dunnage room, POS area & loading dock), driver yard and general facilities are kept in an organized, orderly, and clean fashion at all times
  • Keep track and report to Director of Sales any items that are not in good working order that need to be addressed with building owners or contractors
  • Ensure all utilities, equipment, and general building/grounds maintenance and upkeep are in superior order
  • Work within assigned budget
  • Must be a reliable and consistent presence at MBA’s warehouse
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task
  • Extremely organized with an acute attention to detail

  • Strong team player able to work across multiple functions and disciplines
  • Upbeat, energetic, and enthusiastic
  • Craft beer aficionado
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, degree in Operations Management a plus. Must have at least 3 years of related work experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Experience with Fishbowl Inventory a plus
  • Forklift Certified
  • Physically fit with ability to repetitively lift 75lbs
