Contract brewer Community Brewing Ventures (CBV) has acquired the intellectual property of Charlotte, North Carolina’s Unknown Brewing Company, and will continue production of its beer brands.

Denver Beer Co. is joining the NFT scene.

For over 6 years, The Unknown Brewing Co. has been brewing and perfecting the timeless taste of their two signature beers— Over The Edge IPA and Pregame Pilsner.

Unknown Brewing Co., located in the heart of Charlotte, NC in the once industrial South End district, partnered up with Bring Back The Buzz to give Charlotte its very own Dry Hopped American Pale Ale! Perfectly balanced with a crisp finish! 

On November 24, The Unknown Brewing Company is releasing a robust Russian stout, the Russian Roulette. This delicious stout is brewed with chocolate, cinnamon, chilis, and only comes in packs of 4…. But there’s a catch!

Everyone’s favorite barrel aged key lime gose is back July 28th at The Unknown Taproom.

This Thursday The Unknown Brewing Co. rereleases their Southern Amber Ale titled “Hospitali-Tea”. Hospitali-Tea is brewed with real black tea leaves and sweet orange blossom honey.

Its been two years since Unknown brewed the one off Kitten Snuggles. Yet, they still get phone calls and emails almost every week for it.

This Saturday from 1-10pm The Unknown Brewing company will be having their annual Anniversary music festival (their biggest event of the year) and for the first time ever….it is free.

On February 16th The Unknown Brewing Company will be releasing the rarest beer they’ve ever made. The appropriately titled Imperial Pastry Sweet Stout will be called “Rarest Bean” due to the 2 different beans that were used during the brewing process. The first bean that was used was “Black Ivory Coffee”, it is literally the rarest coffee bean on earth. The coffee is consumed and processed (and by processed we mean pooped out) by elephants and only 1,000 pounds of coffee are produced a year, thus making this coffee extremely expensive ($100 a bag).  

We are excited to announce that today we began construction on The Unknown Wood & Grain Project – Our very own Distillery.

The Unknown Brewing Company, a craft brewery located in Charlotte’s South End, is pleased to announce a new Head Brewer, Chris Wertman. Wertman has worked at The Unknown since June 2016 and was promoted this month from Assistant Brewer to Head Brewer at the brewery.

The Unknown Brewing Company is pleased to announce their newest beer release — Scratch ‘N Sniff. This new brew is available on draft in the taproom and in 12-ounce cans throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.
