Portland, Oregon-based Rev. Nat’s Hard Cider will cease operations on September 24 after 12 years in business, according to the Oregonian. The closure comes just six months after Rev. Nat’s opened a new taproom in Southeast Portland.
Portland, Oregon’s Reverend Nat’s Hard Cider announced plans last week to move its operations into a 21,000 sq. ft. building that will allow the company to double its capacity and meet growing demand for its products.
After years of occasional deliveries to select retailers and appearances at cider events, Reverend Nat’s Hard Cider, the Portland Oregon based cidery known for making unusual ciders, is expanding sales distribution to New York through S.K.I. Beer.
Reverend Nat’s Hard Cider continues to produce ciders that no one else will make with the debut of their newest cider, “Wooden Hellfire,” a 16.6% ABV monster produced only with fresh apple juice and yeast, and left to age for over a year in Kentucky-sourced used bourbon barrels.
