Protagonist Beer

Protagonist Beer is pleased to announce that they will be expanding their fast growing beer distribution to South Carolina this month. They will be partnering with Comer Distributing to bring their beers into the Palmetto State for the first time starting mid-April 2023. Beers will be available first in the Fort Mill, Tega Cay, Rock Hill, and Clover markets, with plans for more markets in the future.

This year has left many wondering if this is the real-life, caught in a landslide of social distancing and hand sanitizer. As 2020 draws nigh, Protagonist Beer is offering a little escape from reality, as the brewery is proud to announce it will begin canning beers for the first time next week.

One of North Carolina’s newer breweries already has expansion on tap, as Charlotte-based Protagonist announced today that its second location will open to the public this Wednesday,  November 18 at 11 a.m. EST. 

One of Charlotte’s brewing newcomers, Protagonist Beer, is excited to forge ahead on construction at its new location in the city’s Lower South End neighborhood.

Protagonist has just created a weekly campaign called “Locals Mash,” featuring interviews with 3 different small and local businesses via Instagram Live discussing how their businesses have evolved during the COVID19 crisis and how to support them.

Charlotte, North Carolina’s newest taproom and nano-brewery, Protagonist is now open in NoDa, the Arts District.

During its buildout, Protagonist, Charlotte’s most-anticipated new taproom and brewery, is collaborating on a custom beer with Town Brewing of Charlotte and Little Brother Brewing of Greensboro.
