5 Exquisite Courses Paired with Current Spirits and Captain Lawrence beers!

Valentine's Day is almost here and love is in the air at Captain Lawrence! This year, don't worry about spending hours in the kitchen whipping together the perfect meal or scrambling to make reservations at the last minute. We'll provide that spark of romance to go along with five courses of exquisite food prepared by Executive Chef Tim Ocasio and paired with Current Spirits cocktails and Captain Lawrence beers.

First Course:
Market Oysters on the Half Shell with Traditional Accompaniments

Second Course
Butternut Apple Soup with Apple Slaw and Winter Salad

Third Course
Scallops with Wheat Berries and Fennel
Foie Gras Mousse with Toasted Brioche, Raisins and Pear

Fourth Course
Choice of:
Poor Man's Lobster Risotto with Chorizo and Black Garlic
or
Filet Mignon with Duck Fat Potatoes, Asparagus and a Red Wine Reduction

Fifth Course
Molten Chocolate Cake with Ronnybrook Farm Ice Cream
Neopolitan Ice Cream with Seasonal Fruit

Dinner will be held in the Captain Lawrence Taproom complete with roaring (TV) fireplaces. Our resident beer professor, Chris Konopka, will be on hand all night to discuss each dish, their pairings and any other beer-related questions you may have while you're not lovingly gazing into the eyes of your partner.
