Stout Month Barrel Aged Sensory with Crooked Stave

February is STOUT MONTH and it's got us thinking of barrel-aged beers! With that in mind, our sensory specialist will guide you through a hands-on sensory of flavors and aromas commonly found in barrel aged beers.

We will cover five standards including Acetic Acid, Acetaldehyde, Ethyl Acetate, 2-, 4-, 6-Trichloroanisole (Musty) and Hydrogen Sulfide. We will also cover background on how these standards are created and their relationships to each other. You must be of legal drinking age to attend. This class lasts approximately `1.5 hours.
