Wiley Roots Brewing Company is kicking off the Greeley Blues Jam weekend with a Pool Party.

It's summertime and hot, which means there is only one thing to do... throw a weekend pool party!

To kick off Greeley Blues Jam weekend, we're inviting everyone to the brewery for a pool party with LIVE music from The Buzz Brothers Band and Queen Bee and the Stingers, food from Smokin' Bros Barbecue, three new Slush variants (including a new frozen variant), and we're launching our new "Local Roaster" series!

Starting at 12pm on Friday, June 8, we are releasing Pineapple Strawberry Slush, Pool Party Slush, frozen Double Cherry Limeade Slush, and Thanks a Latte coffee blonde. Then at 5:30pm, we'll have LIVE music on the patio.

Slush is our heavily fruited, rotating sour series, inspired by everyone’s favorite drive-in summer drink. For this release, we decided to recreate our favorite adult pool-side slushy cocktails with Pineapple Strawberry Slush and Pool Party Slush. Pineapple Strawberry Slush is made from pureed whole fruit pineapples and fresh strawberries, created in memory of summertime at the local pool with daiquiris in styrofoam cups. Pool Party Slush is made with fresh hand pressed limes, crushed spearmint, and a shot of rum, created in memory of this summer and the next, because we really enjoy a good Mojito by the water these days.

To break in the new slushy machine, we are re-releasing Cherry Limeade, with DOUBLE the fruit. Frozen Double Cherry Limeade will be available on site only, but since we now own a damn slushy machine, it will be available all weekend.

Local Roasters is a new coffee series we are launching to showcase local coffee roasters in Colorado. Our first beer in the series, Thanks a Latte, is a sessionable and semi-sweet American Blonde with noble hops, lactose, and cold steeped coffee from Beagle Coffee Company in Fort Collins. This beer was made with their Atlas blend, which combines El Salvador San Luis coffee beans that were washed with a small amount of Nicaragua la Bastilla beans, creating an incredibly unique flavor and aroma that compliments the slightly bready, biscuit finish of the classic American Blonde. The addition of lactose rounds out the beer with a heightened level of sweetness, which cuts the robust coffee roast, emulating a shot of whipped cream in your morning latte.

Thanks a Latte will be available on tap for $6.00 per 16oz, Pineapple Strawberry Slush and Pool Party Slush will be on tap for $6.50 per 12oz, and frozen Double Cherry Limeade Slush will be available for $7.00 per 12oz. We will also be selling cans of Thanks a Latte to-go for $15 per 4-pack, with Pineapple Strawberry Slush and Pool Party Slush available to-go for $16 per 4-pack.

All cans to-go are one case per person, per variant limit.
