Become an urban gardener with a vegetable garden kit and instruction from local garden specialist!

We are collaborating with Fifth Season Garden Co. for a fun, Spring-inspired event. With tickets, participants will get a garden kit, complete with everything they need for a small container garden and a token for a delicious beer. Fifth Season will provide a demo on how to put together your container garden and care instructions to ensure a long and fruitful life. Everything will be supplied for you to take home and create a masterpiece of your own design!! Additional plants and materials will be available for purchase for the adventurous.

Two Kit Offerings:

Basic Urban Gardener Container Kit $40: 1 bag of Ocean Forest or Happy Frog potting soil, 2 5-gallon Smart Pot Fabric Growing Containers, 4 plant starts of choice
Deluxe Urban Gardener Container Kit $95 (great for themed gardens – salsa garden, pizza garden, salad garden...) Includes 4 bags Happy Frog potting soil, 1 Smart Pot Big Bad Bed Jr (50-gallon), 6 plant starts

Mike from Fifth Season will present a brief tutorial on building your bed, fertilizing your soil, and choosing the right spot for your containers with a focus on growing healthy tomatoes. A Q&A will follow, so don't worry, you'll leave feeling fully equipped to make a fantastic garden!
