Raekwon, GZA, Killah Priest, the first Denver Premier of Young Dirty and DJ Symphony will be performing a blended set for over two hours in length! Talk of Melvin began on the West Coast, but the heart of Melvin started beating in the small mountain town of Jackson Hole, Wyoming and has since spread nationwide. Jeremy Tofte founded Melvin Brewing in 2000. He was working as a waiter at a Thai restaurant and just like a lot of new restaurants, it went under. He talked the landlord into giving him the keys to the space. After Selling his 1984 Mercedes wagon to pay for a 20 gallon brewing system and a little polishing up, he re-opened and immediately started ruining people’s vacations by playing loud hip hop (mostly Wu-Tang Clan) and Kung Fu movies alongside beers from the future, which became the birth of Melvin Brewing Company.

Melvin Brewing have won forty major brewing awards since 2011 and were dubbed “Brewery Group of the Year” at the 2017 Great American Beer Festival, in addition to winning gold medals for their “Hubert MPA” and “Fresh Hop Melvin IPA”. Melvin is known for throwing huge beer events unlike any others, celebrating a love of craft, Kung Fu and hip hop, all with the mindset of “Don’t Hate, Party!”.

RAEKWON is an American rapper most well known as Raekwon (the Chef), one of the nine Wu-Tang Clan members. Raekwon joined Wu-Tang Clan, a hip hop group based in Staten Island, New York in 1992. Raekwon is often cited as one of the pioneers of the Mafioso rap subgenre. In 2007, the editors of About.com placed him on their list of the Top 50 MCs of Our Time (1987–2007). The Miami New Times described Raekwon's music as being "street epics" that are "straightforward yet linguistically rich universes not unlike a gangsta Iliad."

GZA THE GENIUS is one of the three main founders of Wu-Tang Clan, along with RZA and ODB. When it comes to thought provoking, street-bred raw lyricism, the Wu-Tang Clan's fountain of wisdom, GZA takes his job very seriously. The way he crafts his double-edged rhyme flow mirrors the skill and precise technique of one who works with fine ceramics. GZA's metaphoric and multi-layered lyrics are often touted by critics as his rap name implies; genius.

KILLAH PRIEST is a tangential associate of the Wu-Tang Clan. The Brooklyn native made his first recorded appearances on records by such Wu side projects and solo albums as the Gravediggaz, Ol' Dirty Bastard's “Return to the 36 Chambers”, and, most importantly, Genius/GZA's seminal “Liquid Swords”. His contributions became legendary and paved the way for the release of his acclaimed debut album, Heavy Mental, in the spring of 1998.

“YOUNG DIRTY” BASTARD, (aka) ODB JR., Brooklyn born, Barson Unique Jones - grew up under the influence of nine legendary hip-hop emcees known to the world as Wu Tang Clan. One of the founders and leaders of the group was his father, Russell Jones – the late great & beloved Ol' Dirty Bastard. And, his cousin is Rza, the producer of the multi platinum supergroup. Jones had mostly remained on the sideline as an admirer of the music being created by his family. But one day at nine years old of age, his father called him to perform verses on his song “Shimmy Shimmy Ya”, at the world famous Apollo stage in Harlem. From that day forward he always felt an urge to perform.

DJ CHONZ, After making so much noise on the local scene, in 2001 Denver’s largest hip-hop station KS107.5 (KQKS-FM) allowed Chonz and local personalities Francois Baptiste and Kingdom to launch the Radio Bums Mixtape Show, a specialty hip-hop show on Sunday nights. Because of the popularity of the show and Chonz’s skills on the turntable, KS 107.5 FM recruited him to mix live in the studio for the weekend party mix and during the afternoon drive, making him the first DJ to ever mix live on commercial radio in Denver. Thus opening the door for Chonz to be the very first Denver Nuggets DJ.

E-TURN’s diverse background in music stems from a lifelong journey through Persian vocals, tribal drumming, poetry, and lyrical Jazz. With family members well versed in these arts, E-Turn was raised to bring a unique, well-rounded, and worldly sound to Hip Hop. Greatly influenced by icons like Nas, Tupac,
Lauryn Hill, Sade, and A Tribe Called Quest, E-Turn’s sound echoes the essence of true Hip Hop, and masterfully bridges the gap between staccato rap and soulful vocals.
