After more than four years of leading Salt Lake City-headquartered Uinta Brewing Company, Jeremy Ragonese is stepping down as president, effective June 30. Noah Brown, Uinta’s VP of revenue, will assume the presidency, starting July 1.

NielsenIQ veteran Mary Mills has departed the data giant to join Chicago-based 3 Tier Beverages as a consultant. During her 14 years at NielsenIQ, Mills worked with clients in the food, beverage and consumer goods industries in a variety of roles, including innovation insights, client management and business development. She brings nearly a decade of experience with beverage-alcohol brands to 3 Tier. Salt Lake City-headquartered Uinta Brewing has tapped Ian Fuller as director of brewing operations.

Uinta Brewing Company, in partnership with Utah ski resorts Brighton, Deer Valley, and Powder Mountain, announced the launch of a new seasonal variety pack that aims to raise funds and promote the important work done by Protect Our Winters (POW.)

Dexter, Michigan-based Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales has opened a new cafe and brewery in East Lansing, Michigan, the company’s ninth location. Uinta president Jeremy Ragonese believes the Salt Lake City craft brewery has “stabilized” after a rough 2019. After “retrenching” and “retooling” the business in 2019, Ragonese sees 2020 as “a year of growth and profitability.”

The Riverside Company, a private equity firm with offices in New York City and Cleveland, has exited its investment in Salt Lake City’s Uinta Brewing Company. Reached by Brewbound, a spokesperson for the firm, which acquired a partial stake in 2014, declined to comment on its decision to back away from the investment.
