Night Shift Brewing announces the reopening of their two Boston-area beer gardens – one at the Esplanade on May 10, one in Allston’s Herter Park on May 11.

After a choppy 2022 that included a CO2 shortage and layoffs, Night Shift is narrowing its focus on its core offerings in the new year, homing in on Whirlpool New England pale ale as its first flagship offering, adding popular packaging formats such as variety can 12-packs and single-serve cans and launching an evergreen brand campaign.

Night Shift Brewing is ready for their annual Oktoberfest festivities with exclusive new releases and events at their Everett and Lovejoy Wharf locations – complete with a Stein holding competition, live music and lots of fun for all.

Night Shift leadership told its 12 production employees their jobs could dry up as early as today, as the company prepares to wind down brewing and packaging operations at its Everett, Massachusetts location. The company will shift to contract production at Framingham-based Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers and Pawtucket, Rhode Island-based Isle Brewers Guild (IBG), which had been producing about 50% of Night Shift’s volume.

Night Shift Brewing is spreading its wings this summer with the addition of three new Owl’s Nest beer gardens in the Greater Boston area, opening throughout June.

Everett, Massachusetts-headquartered Night Shift Brewing will begin distributing in Maryland with Legends Ltd., the Baltimore-based subsidiary of Sheehan Family Companies. Manhattan-based Torch & Crown Brewing has entered Massachusetts statewide with Craft Collective.

Night Shift Brewing Company’s distribution partnership with the Sheehan Family Companies is helping the Everett, Massachusetts-headquartered craft brewery fill out the northeast. Earlier this month, Sheehan subsidiary Craft Vermont began distributing Night Shift’s offerings in the Green Mountain State.

Sheehan Family Companies has reached an agreement to acquire some of the assets of Everett, Massachusetts-based Night Shift Distributing (NSD), including the distribution rights to Night Shift Brewing’s portfolio in Massachusetts and Connecticut, beginning October 18.

Hard tea and wine-based spritzer producer Loverboy is attempting to split from its Massachusetts wholesaler, Chelsea-based Night Shift Distributing, according to documents filed with the Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission.
