Overview
We make amazing craft meads and ciders. We are a world class meadery and cidery from Londonderry, New Hampshire that specializes in meads, the world’s oldest alcoholic beverage made from honey, as well as barrel aged hard ciders.
The diversity of our offerings often leave people speechless, while the
flavors have them asking for it from their local retailers. Stop by and
try the oldest fermented beverage to find out why “History never tasted
so good”™.
So outstanding are our meads and ciders, in fact, that Moonlight Meadery has been named 2017 Best New Hampshire Brewery – as chosen by Zymurgy’s Best Breweries by State!
Distributed in the United States, Japan, and Australia.
On Saturday, February 27, Moonlight Meadery (Londonderry, NH) will debut their award-winning Utopian X, a barrel-conditioned mead aged in Samuel Adams Utopias barrels for a decade.
Moonlight Meadery is celebrating a 6th anniversary by launching an additional 2 ciders in their portfolio in draft releases. Crimes of Passion is a black currant cider and Boys n’ Berries is a boysenberry cider.
Moonlight Meadery has set a date for the release of Utopian (batch #9) for February 18th, 2016. This traditional mead has been fermented and aged for the past 5 years in American oak barrels that Boston Beer Company so generously provided to Moonlight Meadery, a fledgling meadery back in January 2011.
LONDONDERRY, N.H. — This winter, New Hampshire’s Moonlight Meadery (23 Londonderry Road #17, 603-216-2162) will bring their richly flavored, artisanally produced and gluten-free meads to an ever-increasing audience that now includes nearly two dozen states. Founded by meadmaker Michael Fairbrother in 2010 to produce mead (the world’s first recorded fermented beverage, traditionally made with honey and water), Moonlight is the nation’s fastest growing meadery.
