Brewbound Review:
Craft beer in cans is starting to catch on and 21st Amendment’s Brew Free or Die IPA is one of the best we’ve seen. Their can’s stick out on the shelf because, well, they’re cans, but more than that they have all have a clean, modern feel with the name and type of beer in a readable sans serif font. This clear golden IPA pours with a tall head. On the nose it smells heavily of citrusy hops and pine. As the smell indicates, the first flavors are of hops with a light non-cloying mouthfeel. Brew Free or Die IPA goes down easy with a slightly bitter bite, it’s more of a nibble, and a follows with a short finish. There’s a lot to love about this beer from their in-your-face graphics to the extremely drinkable IPA found in the can.
