Yuengling Selects Neiman Agency for Philadelphia Ad Campaign

PHILADELPHIA, PA — After a strategic and creative competition among Philadelphia’s top agencies, Yuengling Brewery and its Philadelphia-area distributor, Origlio Beverage, have chosen Neiman to help the iconic beer brand grow in the Philadelphia market — the market that played a key role in Yuengling’s march to become America’s largest brewer.

“We love all our clients,” said Neiman CEO Tim Reeves. “But there is something special about beer. And there is no more special U.S. beer than Yuengling.”

With the influx of new, competitive beer brands in the market, Yuengling and Origlio have charged Neiman with developing a campaign to keep the Philadelphia-area household name Lager connected to the city and make it relevant to new generations of beer drinkers in Philadelphia.

“Neiman”s ability to marry consumer insight with breakthrough creative is what put them over the top. We”re a brand that will always have a special connection to Philly, and they were able to bring that connection to life in new and unexpected ways, which is exactly what we and our partners at Origlio were looking for,” said Lou Romano, Yuengling’s Director of Marketing.

Founded in 1829, Yuengling is America’s oldest Brewery and is family owned and operated. The brewery produces the highest quality lagers, porters and ales for their wholesalers, retailers and consumers. The Philadelphia area — Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties — remains the largest sales area in Yuengling’s distribution footprint.

Neiman’s campaign for Yuengling is expected to launch in the fall.
