Easton, PA — Weyerbacher Brewing has announced several changes to their year round and seasonal beer offerings for 2017.

Previously available year round, Tarte Nouveau will now be available as a special release (2017 availability not yet determined). Tarte Nouveau, 3.9% ABV, is kettle-soured with lactobacillus. This tart beer is a refreshing brew with a dry finish.

Seasonal offering, Blasphemy, will now be available as a special release (2017 availability not yet determined). Blasphemy is Weyerbacher’s QUAD aged in bourbon barrels.

AutumnFest, a seasonal beer typically available in August, has been retired by the brewery.

Several special releases introduced in 2016 have been added to the lineup.

Mellow Monks, introduced in August 2016, has been added to the year round offerings. Mellow Monks, a 4.5% ABV Belgian-style ale, is a refreshing golden ale with notes of apple, pear and banana.

Sunday Molé Stout, introduced in September 2016, will now be released annually in September. This American Imperial Stout captures everything you’d expect from a traditional molé – coffee, chocolate, heat and smokiness. Foremost is coffee, which is followed by layers of chocolate. Finally, a subtle lingering heat and smokiness.

Berry Monks, introduced in November 2016, will now be released annually in November. Berry Monks is a variation on Weyerbacher’s Belgian Tripel, Merry Monks, brewed with cranberries, orange peel and ginger.
