WATCH LIVE: Video Stream of Brew Talks Durham

After hosting more than 100 beer industry professionals at SweetWater Brewing in Atlanta on Monday, the Brew Talks Southeast Tour will make its second stop at the Fullsteam Brewery in Durham, North Carolina on Wednesday, Feb. 26.

The second stop during the week-long tour will feature two in-depth conversations on the business of craft beer. For those unable to attend the Brew Talks event in person, we’ve made available a free live video steam, which begins at 5:30 P.M. EST.

TUNE IN LIVE

The evening’s feature panel will explore how craft brewers can work with – instead of against – their wholesale partners to build better brands and manage an avalanche of new SKUs. Brad Johnston, the owner of Tryon Distributing and Jeff Mims, the chief sales officer at Mims Distributing will join Brewbound.com editor Chris Furnari in a moderated discussion.

Prior to the talk, a discussion on the key packaging decisions for craft brewers will explore the strategic reasons behind the selection and design of craft packages. A variety of factors, such as cost of goods, margins, brand image and equipment constraints will be discussed. Fullsteam Brewery founder, Sean Wilson, will join the conversation.

Sponsored by Crown Beverage Packaging and VicinityBrew, the Brew Talks Southeast Tour is a FREE, traveling meetup series that aims to provide craft brewers with access to valuable insight into the branding, marketing and distribution of craft beer. Launched in 2013, Brew Talks are designed to provide craft brewers, distributors and retailers the opportunity to come together in beer friendly locales and have in-depth discussions on the business side of craft beer.
